Another enhanced features in new Lion that most of the users love is full-screen mode. It’s basically an iteration of Expose, the desktop-management tool that shrinks and spreads the applications all over the screen so users can switch between them easily. In the new updated version of OS X Loin 10.7.5 now advanced interface-related feature included that is Mission Control, which has nothing to do with the iPad.
We will leave Studio Mode for advanced usage. An amazing update in this version is improved Apple’s screen management tool. Click Start Recording to start recording on a local storage drive. Click Start Streaming to start streaming online.
Before we can capture the Desktop Audio, we need to install Soundflower and make changes to the Audio MIDI Setup.
Do this if you want to display your face. Right-click on the display and select Transform > Fit to Screen. This will go away when we minimize OBS later when we go live.
Do this if you want to display your desktop screen. Click on the “+” button to add a new scene if you do not already have “Scene 1”.
Just looking for help how to get the audio to work.
The program recognizes the Midas in OBS I can select it from the drop down in the audio preferences but I don’t get the “active” next to it in the advanced audio preferences like I’ve seen in other videos. I’m trying to get the audio from my Midas mixer into OBS. I am able to run it successfully with my iPhone as the “webcam” via EpocCam HD on my iPhone 11 max pro. I’m so far successfully using OBS 24.0.6. So have installed the last version of OBS that I think supports OS X 10.11.6.
I’m on OSX 10.11.6 I’m hardware locked at that OS because of my Mac Pro and also hardware locked with my audio interface/mixer the Midas Venice F24 and am running into my Mac through FireWire.
